Fire Retardant Clear Coating

Flamort PF-1 is a water-base fire retardant coating for use on polyester 'silk' plants and foliage. It is milky-white in appearance and dries to a clear satin finish in approximately 8 to 12 hours. Coated plants are washable by sprinkling with mild soap and rinsing with water.

APPLICATION: Stir well before using. Flamort PF-1 can be applied by dipping or spraying. Dipping is recommended as the coating is applied more uniformly and thoroughly. Dip the leaves, shake off the excess, and hang to dry. When spraying, mask off areas to be protected from the over spray and use drop cloths for the floors. Conventional paint sprayers can be used. Spray until the leaves are completely coated. Leaves that are sticking together must be separated while wet.

ALWAYS PRETEST SAMPLES TO ENSURE DESIRED RESULTS. Determine the amount applied will meet with your fire retardant requirements.

CAUTION: Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid prolonged breathing of vapors and prolonged contact with skin. After using, wash hands thoroughly before eating or smoking (rubber gloves are recommended). Do not take internally. Keep container closed when not in use.
